I was very happy with the reasonably spacious room, complete with a bedroom and a superb view. the location was great and magnificent, not far from the center of Evian, all the local sights and attractions, and the center of town. the venue was near Eglise Saint Nicolas de Veroce.

This place is centrally located, close to everything, including the funicular, the lake, and a charming conservatory or outdoor area.

The central location here is fantastic with comfortable beds, clean and bright rooms featuring balconies and garden views, making everything great.

I recently stayed at a hotel in the heart of town, right in the middle of Evian at the top of a pedestrian street sweeping down towards the lakefront promenades. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to all the attractions and amenities this charming town has to offer. The room was small but clean, with a nice view of the back garden from the window. The bathroom was also clean and well-maintained. The service at the hotel was exceptional, with the friendly receptionist going above and beyond to help us find a parking spot in the busy city. The breakfast served in the conservatory was superb, with a wide variety of choices to suit all tastes. the hotel provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I did notice that the building seemed quite old, and the thin walls made it possible to hear the footsteps of other guests above us.

the rate was normal and the services good.

The only thing i didnt like is holding a mount of money from my credit card and I already paid the rate in cash at the check out. The breakfast was not included.

The value for money was excellent, and the room was clean and comfortable with the best pillows I've had in six weeks of travel. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of the pedestrian area and just a few meters from Lake Geneva. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The breakfast experience could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

A bit Spooky like the City it self.

Freshly decorated room, excellent staff, I liked it. The daily breakfast was sensational with a nice view and a tea + coffee, as for instance. The public parking was next to the hotel, excellent service.

If you're looking for a hotel in a great location, Hotel De France Contact-Hotel is the ideal choice. Situated in the center of the old city, it's perfect for a short stay of 1-2 nights. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. The staff is helpful and the breakfast is delicious, with a variety of options. You'll also enjoy stunning views of the lake and alleys from your room. free parking is available, although it may be a bit tricky to find at first.

The hotel lacks air conditioning, which can be uncomfortable during hot summer months.

Very well located in Evian. The cheapest hotel I could find but quite expensive for what it offered. Good communication before I arrived. Some of the staff very pleasant and good English.

The floor boards in the corridor creaked as did the fire door outside my room. Whilst other residents were walking up and down the corridor I couldn't get to sleep. Decor could be improved.

Room was lovely & clean, bathroom was very spacious & spotless. Would have liked tea/coffee facilities. Staff were very helpful & polite. We didn't do breakfast so can't comment.

First impressions aren't brilliant, the decor in the corridors need upgrading.
